Being an Optometrist, Dr. Paul J Olsovsky says that an optometrist is basically a doctor. He must possess a degree in the field of optometry and the educational period that are needed for becoming an optometrist is of eight years, which includes four years for completing their under graduation and another four years is for getting an education in the area of optometry. As eyes are one of the precious gifts that is given to a person in order to enjoy the world therefore, if he find a difficulty related to the eyes then he must visit an eye specialist in order to get a cure from his problem.

Dr. Paul J Olsovsky has mentioned some of the eye diseases for which an optometrist provides a cure to the patient’s eyes, which includes:-

  • Blurred vision

It basically refers to lack of sharp vision that will further result in an inability to see fine object clearly and it often caused by the problem related to nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and many other problems.

  • A Burning sensation in the eye

Dr. Paul Olsovsky explains that Burning eyes can be caused by several possible causes which include problems like itching, eye pain and watery eyes.

  • Dryness of the eye

A dry eye is one of the common conditions that can take place when the tears are not able to provide adequate lubrication to the eyes.

Therefore, if a person is experiencing any of the above mentioned disease, then it is his responsibility to visit an eye specialist as soon as possible.
